Nick Adamo Band 11/6

November 06, 2019 07:00 PM until November 06, 2019 09:00 PM

Born on Long Island, New York, Nick Adamo spent most of his childhood in the Woodlands, TX developing an interest in fine art, music, fashion, and counter culture via his love of skateboarding. He moved to San Marcos, TX where he played defensive back for Texas State University Football Team and would dabble on acoustic guitar between practices and class. While attending, he met Brady Beal (the lead guitarist with Parker McCollum ) who inspired him to make his debut vocal performance at Cheatham Street where icon George Strait also launched his career.

After getting his first electric guitar signed at a Jimmie Vaughan show, he became consumed with improving his craft and studied the Blues along with the Radiohead catalogue practicing 6 hours daily. Soon, he was hitting open mics in Austin, TX where he eventually met frequent collaborator and fellow songwriter Dylan Hill of the band Mamalarky. He recently co-founded a Grateful Dead tribute band, “Mostly Dead” as singer/guitarist and garnered multiple social media reposts from the legendary band members themselves. Now stepping into his own as a laid-back Indie Pop songwriter, Nick looks to further establish his guitar-driven sound and a promising career as a solo artist.
